Biosis is looking to appoint an experienced zoologist join our team in Melbourne. This is an excellent opportunity to join a leading consultancy which provides ecological, heritage and environmental approval services throughout south-eastern Australia. Working closely with our multi-disciplinary team of professionals, you will become an integral member of the ecology team, a key contributor to existing and future projects throughout Victoria and a driver for the development of our ecological capabilities in the region. Biosis employs a highly experienced multi-disciplinary team of aquatic ecologists, archaeologists, botanists, zoologists, environmental planners and GIS operators. We have offices in Albury, Ballarat, Melbourne, Newcastle, Sydney, Wangaratta, Western Sydney and Wollongong. Melbourne office is located in Port Melbourne, close to the CBD and easily accessible by public transport. We are a very short walk from the North Port tram stop. This central location provides access to all the services of Melbourne without the hassle of traffic and parking. Biosis is seeking a zoologist with experience in field zoology, capable of providing environmental advice and guidance to our clients. Your responsibilities will include participating in, conducting and managing projects, and the production of technical reports. Additional duties will include survey design and implementation, proposal writing, sales and establishing a profile in the professional community as a zoologist.
