Job title - Youth Project Officer. based in Trowbridge, Wiltshire Salary: £11,884.28 per annum
The Conservation Volunteers’ supported by Natural England through Access to Nature, which is part of the Big Lottery Fund’s Changing Spaces programme, are offering a programme of environmental activities for young carers and their families called ‘Young Carers Nature Challenge’. The project requires the following role: Working in close partnership with local Young Carer Organisations, and other partners, you will offer young carers and family members the opportunity to develop the skills and experience enabling them to confront and overcome barriers and to become more involved with their natural environment. You will have experience of conservation and/or working with vulnerable young people, be able to run fun environmental activities for 6-25 year olds, and be willing to work some weekends and school holidays. 21 hours per week This is a 3 month temporary contract with the possibility of extension to March 2013 Closing date for completed applications is 28/05/12 |
