Scottish and Southern Energy is one of the largest and most diverse energy companies in the UK. We own the electricity transmission network and own and operate the distribution network across the North of Scotland, and are responsible for maintaining, repairing and upgrading these networks. The Woodland Management Team is responsible for the clearance of all trees to facilitate the construction, implementation and maintenance of transmission lines and associated works. The work includes the felling/clearance of trees in the power line corridors along with additional tree cutting to form access tracks, line deviations and underground cabling. You must be adaptable, self motivated and flexible as you will be required to travel and work within the project area. A full driving licence is required.
