We are now seeking an Information Support Officer to join our team on a permanent basis, working 30 hours per week.

The Role
As an Information Support Officer, you will provide administrative support across our marketing, communication and design services and ensure that the Authority’s brand is represented in a consistent and professional manner.
Ensuring that information is readily available on our website, you will support digital accessibility, providing basic web and digital accessibility training and support to our staff. You will also ensure compliance with Public Sector Bodies and Accessibility Regulations, after training.





Additionally, you will:
- Assist the Graphic Designer in producing assets such as event posters and business cards
- Support the Content Manager with the sale and distribution of our publications
- Provide administrative support to the Marketing and Communications team
- Co-ordinate the logistics of our attendance at Agricultural Shows
- Seek to increase advertising revenue for our annual Out and About magazine
About You
To be considered as an Information Support Officer, you will need:
- Experience with a range of administration tasks, including overseeing website content
- Experience overseeing the creation and organisation of corporate documentation
- Experience of proofreading documents
- Working knowledge of graphic design software

National Park Centre Assistant (Part-Time).
Danby Lodge National Park Centre, Whitby, North Yorkshire.

We are now seeking a National Park Centre Assistant to join our team at Danby Lodge National Park Centre on a permanent, part-time basis, working approximately 600 hours per year, including one weekend a month alongside hours during the week.

The Role

As a National Park Centre Assistant, you will help to ensure a high-quality experience with high standards presentation are delivered to all visitors at Danby Lodge National Park Centre.
Helping members of the public get the most out of their visit to the Centre, you will provide information about the area, sell high-quality merchandise in the shop and gallery, ensure that it’s presented in a professional and welcoming manner.

You will be an advocate for the National Park Authority and actively engaged with the wider work of the North York Moors National Park.

Working with a team of volunteers you will engage with our visitors by getting out and about in the grounds to promote what we have on offer both on site and across the National Park
You will also assist visitors who have additional access needs to ensure that there are no barriers to the enjoyment of our facilities and provide further help online and over the phone.

Additionally, you will:

- Assist with all areas of the National Park Centre to include events, activities, retail administration, art exhibitions, workshops, outdoor learning activities.
- Assist with merchandising and display and knowledge of retail products
- Assist in maintaining high levels of presentation both inside and outside to include simple tasks such as weeding, planting, sweeping & painting
- Willing to undertake social media training and post regular content to our Facebook page

About You

To be considered as a Visitor Centre Assistant, you will need:

- Experience in working in a visitor engagement role.
- Retail and cash handling experience
- Be competent with IT skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
-An eye for detail and basic maintenance skills
