Help the Wood River Land Trust with our Pollinator Initiative and connectstudents and the community to our restoration work! The Pollinator Initiative promotespollinator habitat through habitat restoration and educational programming for youth andadults. This position will mix land management and community conservation by leadingcommunity workdays, engaging with school groups, designing and implementing pollinatorhabitat improvement projects at our Colorado Gulch Preserve. The AmeriCorps member willhelp the Land Trust increase its outreach to connect with a broader cross-section of thecommunity in a manner that connects people to the land and helps them understand thebenefits of restoring habitat and conserving land and water. This position is 11-months longand starts in early October. Members are required to complete 1700 hours of service.
