Wind Turbine Engineer, Spain

They have developed innovative technical training concepts for all levels of experience, offering a broad range of customised training courses, including on-site training courses tailored to their customers specific needs regarding their experience and the type of wind turbines they are working with.

They are looking for an experienced wind turbine engineer to join their team and contribute to their rapid growth within the market. Position Overview:

As a highly skilled engineer with at least 5 years experience working with wind turbines, you will be giving technical training on the operation of wind turbines to a wide range of clients with varying degrees of experience on a global scale. You will report to the regional manager and be required to travel on a regional basis to provide both open-class and in-house training, teaching between 1-12 technicians at a time. Responsibilities:-

• ·         Providing technical training on the operation of wind turbines
• ·         Providing instruction and advice on the operation of various different wind turbines
• ·         Take part in blade inspections
• ·         Providing wind turbine maintenance to clients
• ·         Offering open class training at selected locations and dates throughout Europe
• ·         Providing In-house training at client locations world wide
• ·         Working with the company’s clients and technicians whilst passing on your extensive knowledge and understanding of the wind sector

Education:-

• ·         Must have a strong academic background with a degree in Engineering (electrical, mechanical, civil) or a related discipline.

Core Requirements:-

• ·         At least 5 years experience working with wind turbines
• ·         An exceptional understanding of various different types of wind turbines
• ·         Experience working with both large global clients and smaller businesses
• ·         Fluency in Spanish
• ·         An exceptional understanding of the wind sector
• ·         Career driven
• ·         Ability to work with clients of varying degrees of knowledge and experience with wind turbine
