Broadwind Services is seeking a talented individual for the position of Wind Energy Training Specialist.  This position is based at our Abilene, TX services center.

The Wind Energy Training Specialist will have responsibility to research, design, facilitate, and deliver Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) training programs using a variety of instructional techniques for Wind Technicians as well as evaluate training effectiveness to drive a positive EHS culture.
In This Position, You Will Have the Opportunity To:
·         Develop and maintain EHS training materials on subject areas such as safe work practices, safety equipment, fall arrest, rescue and evacuation from Wind Turbines, first aid, and fire extinguishing.  
·         Responsible for defining the wind energy training needs with the EHS and Services Management teams.
·         Identify and coordinate with appropriate Subject Matter Expert(s) (SME) to ensure pertinent issues are addressed in EHS training.
·         Provide coaching and performance feedback to Wind Technicians.
·         Facilitate training delivery for company employees and customers in the wind energy sector using a variety of methods including instructor-led, self-study, and technology-based learning.
·         Research and recommend vendor programs to address specific training needs when in-house solutions are not available or appropriate.
·         Evaluate effectiveness of training programs and make adjustments to content and methods as needed.
·         Coordinate various activities related to training delivery such as document development and production, scheduling facilities, enrolling participants, tracking attendance, etc.
·         Establish and maintain effective working relationships with EHS counterparts, operations, and customers.
