Wind Team Leader, North East region USA

My client is a global consultancy with particular focus in the Wind energy space. They are currently looking to hire a senior expert within the Wind space to lead their team in the USA. They are looking for an individual to support their expansion in the country by growing their existing profile in the US so the ideal candidate will not only be have extensive consultancy experience within the wind industry but will also have a business development background.  My client is also keen to look at candidates who have conducted due diligence reports for utility size wind projects, both onshore and offshore especially in the US but also internationally.  This is an important senior addition to my client’s renewable energy business therefore a proven track record of leadership is vital.

Responsibilities will include but not be restricted to:

• ·         Ensuring that all client relations are not only successful but also generating new business
• ·         Growing the client base significantly across the country to maintain growth
• ·         Directing all large projects to a set timeline
• ·         Ensuring that sufficient support is given to other large projects outside the USA
• ·         Overlooking all due diligence reports to ensure accuracy and client satisfaction

Requirements:

• ·         8+ years in wind energy consulting
• ·         Extensive due diligence and EIA experience
• ·         Experience with both onshore and offshore wind projects
• ·         Business development exposure within the renewable energy space
• ·         Knowledge of the wind energy market structure within the USA
• ·         Excellent oral and written communication skills
