Description

My client is a leading European wind energy manufacturer and developer. They work to the highest standard and have a endeavour to produce a product that will be of the greatest benefit to the client and the environment as a whole. They are currently looking for a senior sales engineer to join their sales team and add the technical knowhow to provide the highest quality information and service to potential clients.

 

Core Criteria:
My client is looking to recruit a senior sales engineer with a strong technical and commercial background, with excellent customer facing skills.  

Responsibilities

  • ·         This role will entail working closely with the Sales Director and the engineering team in order to relate the required information accordingly
  • ·         Preparation and presentation of data and information collected and analyzed to clients and investors in order to develop business within the wind market
  • ·         Working to the highest standard in order gain the confidence of the clients and a secure new projects
  • ·         Raising brand awareness within the Spanish market in order to encourage growth and expansion of Wind project for my clients
  • Locate new business opportunities, contacting small and medium size customers
  • Negotiate and close contracts for the supply of wind turbine generators or complete turn-key projects, both singular or multi project agreements
  • Support the Project Managers in their relationships with  the final customer during the life of the project 

Education:-

  • ·         Must have strong engineering background

Core Requirements:-

  • At least 3-5 sales experience, with a proven track record in the Wind energy sector
  • ·         An understanding of the regulation and requirements of the Spanish and European Wind industry
  • ·         A strong technical background within the renewable energy market

General Requirements:-

  • Ability to travel
  • ·         Ability to communicate across all levels of an organization
  • ·         Ability to work under deadline pressure and deliver high quality results
  • ·         Proven ability to communicate across all levels of an organization
  • ·         Exceptional Presentation skills
  • ·         The ability to work within  a strict budget and time frame while working to the highest standard  
  • ·         The ability to work with a variety of team member s and re[port to senior management

Key Skills:-

Wind Energy, Engineering Background, turkey-wind turbine sales experience and negotiations experience.
