The Wind Sales Account Manager – Southern Region will:

- Create close working relationships with all key personnel at assigned accounts, and develop a thorough understanding of their wind generation strategies and needs
- Provide commercial and technical assistance to assigned accounts with their wind generation strategy
- Ensure GE Wind products and services have a favorable consideration in all of assigned account’s power generation projects
- Identify, develop, and close sales opportunities within assigned accounts and geographic territory
- Identify, understand, and communicate to the Renewables business, customer CTQ’s, from both project specific and their business in general
- Work effectively in a team environment with Commercial Operations, Technical Operations, Engineering, Finance, and OTR to ensure the most efficient use of all resources
- Integrate overall GE Energy products and services into both strategic and transactional activities and opportunities if possible
- Assist with all of the above functions and responsibilities for opportunities beyond assigned accounts and geographic territory
- Participate in and support P&W trade shows, conferences, and other market development activities
- Support and participate GE and P&W activities such as Cross-Business Lead Sharing, and Net Promoter Score
- Maintain accurate and current project and opportunity information with the CMS system (and its replacement system) and manage the Inquiry to Order ("ITO") process for assigned accounts
