Wind Project Development Manager, Constanta, Romania, Europe

My client is a leading player within the Wind Energy sector, with a strong global presence and an exceptional reputation. They have had substantial success in the development of onshore and offshore wind farms, and are currently looking to bring on board an experienced project development manager who will be able to contribute to the continued success of the company.

Position Overview:
My client is seeking an experienced project development manager to oversee their operations. As the project development manager you will be required to proactively source new projects to grow the business whilst utilizing strong communication and interpersonal skills in order to grow the business. The successful candidate must have a  minimum 3-5 years previous project development experience with a proven track record in the wind industry.

Responsibilities:-

• ·         Identify, assess and create project development opportunities
• ·         Oversee the prioritization of assignments, budgets and to organize and direct the flow of work to meet both internal and external expectations
• ·         Develop and set up local strategic partnerships with utilities, project developers, IPPs
• ·         Development of new projects
• ·         Take the lead and ensure that wind farm projects are fully compliant with contractual and customer requirements.
• ·         Coordinating and managing on a regional basis
• ·         Developing strategies, plans and goals on a global scale with industry leaders

Education:-

• ·         Must have strong academic background in business or engineering

Core Requirements:-

• At least 3-5 years experience with a proven track record in the development and management of wind projects
• A strong background working in the onshore wind market

• ·         Excellent management skills
• ·         Be able to understand the total project development operation including material procurement and forecasting
• ·         Ability to communicate across all levels of an organization

General Requirements:-

• Ability to travel

• ·         Ability to work under deadline pressure and deliver high quality results
