Description

WTI is looking for a Veterinarian for the National Train Hit Mitigation Project to deal with wildlife emergencies arising due to conflict with people.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Rescue and rehabilitation of wildlife in distress
  • Provide veterinary care to elephants in captivity
  • Provide health support to wildlife

Qualification, Experience & Skills:

  • B.V.Sc/ M.V.Sc  with a minimum 1-3 years of experience in the relevant field
  • A passion for wildlife

Other Requirements:

  • Willingness to learn and work for long hours if required
  • Good communication skills (both written and spoken) 
  • Ability to walk, trek and withstand challenges in the forest environment
