Are you our new, enthusiastic and dynamic Wildlife Ranger? Do you have what it takes to grasp this exciting challenge at the magnificent, world famous waterfall site at 'Falls of Clyde' Wildlife Reserve?

If so, you would develop and deliver a range of environmental activities to enthuse schoolchildren and the general public, focussing on the local woodland flora and fauna, and the site's pair of breeding peregrine falcons. You would be a key player in the delivery of the reserve?s management plan, supervise seasonal rangers and engage with and supervise our committed volunteers in a range of practical conservation tasks and wildlife and biological surveys.

This post is part-funded by Scottish Power.

Status: Permanent, full-time position. 35 hours per week.
Salary: c£15-18k per annum

Applicants must hold an HND (or above) in a relevant discipline and be able to show results achieved in a similar role. You will be an excellent communicator with a good knowledge of nature conservation, natural history education and land management issues, and be willing to work weekends and evenings. A current driving licence is essential.?
