Ecosure has a great opportunity for an experienced and qualified wildlife manager/ecologist to establish a career in our leading environmental consultancy. You will gain valuable field experience in our Wildlife Management Team as a casual employee. This experience will give you the opportunity to develop your wildlife management skills working in the office, managing projects and developing reports. There may be further opportunities to work in other teams. Please note that the field work can be physically demanding.

Selection criteria

Essential

• Determination to have fun at work
• A Bachelor Degree in Wildlife Management or equivalent
• Strong fauna identification skills and knowledge of both native and introduced species
• Project management experience
• Knowledge of relevant legislation and policies
• High level communication skills including report writing and presentation skills
• Experience and enthusiasm required to identify, pursue and secure wildlife management opportunities
• Great time management skills
• Proven ability to work in a team environment
• Manual drivers licence

Desired

• Experience in wildlife management consulting, and the desire to take ownership of projects from field work to the final client reports
• Post graduate qualification or research experience
