Wildlife Campaign AssistantDescription
WildAid is a unique and dynamic San Francisco-based wildlife conservation non-profit working to end illegal wildlife trade in our lifetime. Using top-level international celebrity ambassadors and Hollywood-quality media campaigns in China, SE Asia and the US, the small, entrepreneurial team leverages an annual $6 million budget into $200 million in pro-bono broadcast and other media. The Wildlife Campaign Assistant will support multiple, fast-paced wildlife campaigns focusing on reducing global demand for elephant ivory, rhino horn, shark fin and manta ray. The Wildlife Campaign Assistant will be responsible for advancing day-to-day activities on multiple wildlife campaigns, including tracking progress and timelines, coordinating internally and with partners, researching and preparing briefings for campaign communications, and preparing reports and funding proposals. Travel will be required (30%), sometimes at short notice, both within the US to Washington DC/New York, and internationally to China, Vietnam, London, etc. Compensation days are not generally given for travel. They will report to the Managing Director and work closely with the Executive Director, Chief China Representative, and Campaign Manager. Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
