Aspen Environmental Group is seeking a Biologist in its southern California office (Agoura Hills). The position requires a bachelor’s degree (master’s degree preferred) and three or more years of experience with California and southwestern ecosystems. Candidate must be able to identify common plant and wildlife species of southern California, have knowledge of sensitive biological resources, and familiarity in evaluating impacts under NEPA and CEQA. Knowledge of natural resource management, conservation biology, and regulatory permitting is also desirable. The successful candidate must have good writing and communication skills, and possess the ability to work well with other professionals on multi-disciplinary teams. This position requires a combination of field and office tasks including surveys, report writing, and periodic monitoring.
