Hours: 35 hours per week

The RSPCA is the largest animal welfare charity in England and Wales. Our purpose as the RSPCA is to end cruelty and promote kindness to animals and to alleviate their suffering. The role:

We are looking for a confident and energetic person to fit in with our hard working team. The aim of the centre is to treat and rehabilitate sick, injured and orphaned British wildlife for return to the wild. 

The role also involves some domestic clinic work with cats, rabbits and ferrets and some teaching / mentoring of vet interns. We work two shifts (covering 0800hrs to 2100hrs) including weekends, public and bank holidays.

You will need:

  • A Veterinary Nurse qualification.  
  • Experience working in a similar wildlife environment (preferable).  
  • A keen interest in wildlife and the willingness to learn.  The capability of dealing with physically demanding species e.g. seals.   
  • To be flexible and willing to work shifts
