Purpose of the Position: The Endangered Wildlife Trust is one of the largest biodiversity conservation NGOs in southern Africa. This position is predominantly a scientific review and administrative position which will provide assistance and support for EWT’s Wildlife and Energy Programme conservation activities, especially with regard to the EWT-ESKOM Strategic Partnership. The position will primarily address the need for data management and analysis, scientific reporting, research, monitoring and evaluation and administrative support for the Partnership. This is a pressurized, deadline-driven working environment, which is largely office based but has a component of field work. Qualifications and Experience required:
? Minimum of a BSc degree or other similar relevant qualification, a postgraduate degree would be an advantage.
? A minimum of 4 year’s relevant experience working in the field on relevant projects
? A valid South African driver’s license
? Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
? Experience working in the NGO sector will be an advantage.
