Norfolk Wildlife Trust has received generous support from the Green Recovery Challenge Fund for an 18 month project - “Norfolk Claylands: Wilder Connections”. This project aims to deliver nature conservation at a landscape scale to improve ecological connectivity across parts of the under-valued South Norfolk Claylands landscape. To do this we are seeking two project officers with complementary skills.

Part time - 4 days per week  

Salary: £26,000 - £27,500 range until 31 March 2023 (18 month project)

Norfolk Wildlife Trust is looking for a Community Engagement Project Officer to be to part of “Norfolk Claylands: Wilder Connections” project delivery team.

We are seeking an enthusiastic, experienced and motivated Community Engagement Officer to help deliver this exciting but ambitious project.  The role will raise awareness of the importance of restoring and creating a Nature Recovery Network across the Claylands Living Landscape. They will use their experience in community engagement to deliver a programme of community training to support habitat and species monitoring, and empower communities to take action to restore and create ‘Wilder Connections’ across their local area.

Experience in working with community groups on habitat restoration projects is essential.
