‘Wild Connections’ Activities Coordinator 

Salary : £23,713.04 per annum for fixed term of 36 months

Hours : 37.5hrs per week (Monday to Sunday)

Based : WWT Head Office, Devizes

Wiltshire Wildlife Trust’s vision is to provide everybody with the opportunity to learn about, connect with and enjoy their local natural heritage. 

We are looking for an experienced Activities Coordinator with excellent interpersonal skills for an exciting new role to deliver a wide range of events and activities for our new Wild Connections project.

Wild Connections, supported by the Heritage Lottery Fund, seeks to deliver innovative ways to break down the barriers that prevent people connecting with nature and meet a growing need for access to our natural heritage.  Our aim over the next three years is to expand audiences, improve accessibility and refocus our community engagement on key nature reserves.

This role carries responsibility for an ambitious range of functions including event organisation and management, people engagement, land management, health and safety and effective management of volunteers to agreed outcomes.

Your role will be wide and diverse but focussed on delivery to our target audiences and the wider community.  You will be responsible for delivering an innovative range of community and wildlife activities and events.as well as practical conservation tasks undertaking project specific capital works.

This is a fantastic opportunity to use your skills to enable a wider range and greater number of people to know and learn about their natural heritage, develop new skills and take an active part in their natural landscape’s management and protection.
