The White Lake Stewardship Coordinator will work on projects that will ensure the long-term survival of conservation targets at White Lake Natural Resource Area and nearby Conservancy preserves in Warren and Sussex Counties, NJ. The position will be responsible for the implementation of stewardship and outreach strategies that are designed to support the current conservation initiatives of the Conservancy in New Jersey. Responsibilities will include developing knowledge and monitoring of conservation targets, engagement of local communities, site stewardship, and assisting the Director of Land Management in the organization of meetings/communications with the 15-member White Lake Partnership Team as well as Warren County’s Freeholders, Department of Land Preservation, and Board of Recreation. This position is subject to annual contract renewal with Warren County. The White Lake Stewardship Coordinator will be supervised by the Director of Land Management.
