Minimum MS in biology, ecology, watershed management or related field. Successful candidate should be able to work independently or with a team of Ecologists. Strong skills in communication, technical writing, and field assessment. Experience in restoration design and NRDA a significant plus.
Job Description:
The successful candidate will be part of a team of ecologist that conducts a wide range of wetlands and related ecological investigations that may include: *Wetland mitigation (site selection, design, and monitoring) *Habitat restoration and creation *State and Federal Wetland permitting *Wetland delineation and mapping *Function and value assessments *Invasive species control and management *Mitigation banking *Expert testimony *Endangered species surveys *Aquatic habitual restoration and enhancements (shoreline beach replenishment, tidal and freshwater wetlands, stream channel)
Responsibilities also include providing technical support and leadership in report preparation, ecological modeling, and field investigation.
