Wetland Biology Researcher

Three temporary positions (at least postdoctoral level) are available for biologists to carry out studies on functioning, management and restoration of wetlands (including coastal marine zones) and their biodiversity. The positions are ideally suited for an established or a postdoctoral researcher wishing to undertake research based on the facilities of the three field stations of the CLGE – BAS.

The candidates must have a Ph.D. or equivalent and have published research papers related to wetlands. Good knowledge of English is also required. They should be self-motivated researchers with a track record of collaborative research and international experience. The candidates should be willing to contribute to CLGE – BAS research curriculum (for more details see http://www.ecolab.bas.bg/) and be able to communicate science to a wide audience.

Positions are available from 1st October 2009.
