West Norfolk Heaths and Fens Warden

 

Salary: £21,000 - £22,500 per annum depending on experience

 

Norfolk Wildlife Trust is the county’s largest environmental charity, committed to the protection and enhancement of Norfolk’s wildlife and wild places.

 

We are seeking an experienced individual to join our West Norfolk reserve management team to work on some of the County’s premier nature reserves.  You will need a good knowledge of wildlife conservation and the practical management techniques used to maintain heathland, mire, grassland and woodland habitats and species. You will have experience of livestock management, chainsaw use, invasive weed control and use of tractors and machinery for conservation.  Good organisational, administrative and communication skills are essential, as is the ability to work as part of a team.
