Description

You are a college or university graduate and have proven experience with the conceptual
design and development of professional Web Applications based on Open Source
Software: Linux, Apache, Ruby on Rails, PHP, PostgresSQL as well as MySQL. Besides the
widely used Web Technologies (HTL, CSS, JavaScript and Ajax) you have sound knowledge
in the administration and the development with MySQL/PostgreSQL Databases.
Knowledge in the fields of Web Services (SOAP, REST) as well as CM Systems like Typo3 will
be an advantage. You will also be responsible to maintain our Web Platforms which are
implemented on Linux Servers (Debian). You should be able to work independently and
not shy away from responsibilities. Your way of thinking should be conceptual and
structured.

Your tasks include the maintenance and development of the CO2-Calculator-Web-
Applications, the internal CO2 Management System, the interface with partner and client
systems as well as the conception and development of new Web Applications and Tools in
the field of climate protection/CO2-Compensation. If necessary, you will also back up the
internal IT-Support. Your work is integrated in the area of Carbon Management Services.
You are communicative, motivated, team orientated and have the ability to work under
pressure. You don’t find it difficult to adapt to new challenges, the contact with partners
and clients from different cultural backgrounds is something you find enjoyable. In
addition to fluent German, excellent English language skills, both spoken and written, are
required. Additional languages are desirable. EU working permission or equivalent
working permission is required.
