Job Title:                    Web Co-ordinator Responsible to:        Overview and Permanent Staff Meeting Terms:                        Permanent full time post subject to a six month probationary period Days worked:             40 hours per week.  Flexible working required  Salary:                        £16,653 p.a. + 2% pension contribution Job Summary: A great opportunity for a web specialist to utilise their skill set to help address climate change through practical solutions. The aim is to strategically and cooperatively integrate Europe’s leading eco-centre’s web presence by using the latest Open Source web technologies to help CAT meet its charitable and financial goals. With your mixture of design, development and marketing skills you will push forward CAT’s strategy through rapid development of a leading, innovative web presence.  Main responsibilities: 
  • Co-ordinate and prioritise web design and development tasks
  • Devise and implement a web presence strategy
  • Act as an internal advocate for new web developments to help CAT achieve its financial and charitable aims
  • Co-ordinate training and disseminate knowledge to staff about new web innovations to help them maximise use of the website
  • Carry out user profile and user satisfaction research
  • Create and monitor marketing aims through web analytics
  • Documentation of web processes and systems
  • Recruit and manage external contractors if required
  • Act as Budget Head for the Web department, including investigating cross-charging to generate income for the department

  • Possess up to the minute knowledge of web innovations

 Highly Desirable Skills:
  • Experience of co-ordinating web presence
  • Experience of working in a LAMP system
  • Knowledge of Joomla CMS
 Desirable Skills:
  • Experience of strategic planning and implementation
  • Experience of outsourcing
  • An interest in environmental issues and CAT’s aims and objectives
  • Ability to speak Welsh
