Wiltshire Wildlife Trust (WWT) requires a Project Officer to support and expand the work of the newly formed Water Team. We are looking for an enthusiastic and passionate team member to take on this exciting opportunity.

The successful applicant will play a key role in designing, constructing and managing complex river restoration projects in the Hampshire Avon Catchment, as well as the Bristol Avon and Thames catchments in Wiltshire. In this, they will work closely together with multiple partners and stakeholders across the county. The successful applicant will have direct experience with design (GIS and/or CAD software) and construction of river restoration projects (a minimum of 2 years), either with a statutory body, NGO, consultancy or specialist contractor.

A full, clean driving licence is a requirement for this post.

Wiltshire Wildlife Trust was set up in 1962 to campaign and take action to protect the natural environment. Since then the Trust has grown to become one of the UK’s leading environmental charities, working to create a sustainable future for wildlife and people. The Water Team is leading on several long-running river habitat improvement projects (Wessex Chalk Streams Project, Source to Sea – tackling invasive species), and developing new durable collaborations across Wiltshire.
