Missouri Coalition for the Environment (MCE) is seeking a Media intern for summer 2010. The duration of the internship would be for approximately 10-12 weeks at 20-30 hours per week. The hours, duration, and start date are subject to slight alteration based on the applicant's circumstances. The Media intern will assist with film and website work related to our efforts to restore and preserve water quality in Kiefer Creek. This opportunity will also include the opportunity to develop skills related to geographic info-graphics created using GIS software.
Basic Qualifications: Excellent organizational skills, ability to work independently, attention to detail, strong oral and written communication skills, ability to work well with others, and proficiency with storyboard/narrative development for a short documentary, digital filming, digital film editing, graphic design, general ability to learn new software and develop content for websites using photoshop or other appropriate software.
Hours: 20-30 hours/week.
