NRDC is seeking an Intern to work in its Santa Monica, CA office. The intern will work with the Water Efficiency program by assisting in research on the implementation of water conservation legislation. The intern will work on evaluating the accuracy of water use reported in Urban Water Management Plans, prepared by urban water suppliers as required by the Water Conservation Act of 2009, also known as “20x2020”. Responsibilities will include research on population (historical and projected), evaluations of baseline water use calculations, and assisting NRDC staff in the collection of data, data analysis, and report writing. This is an unpaid 3month internship.
