Water and Wetlands Specialist
Starting salary £24,120 - 37 hours per week Location: Flexible - Ref: IRC57724
Natural England works for people, places and nature, to enhance biodiversity, landscapes and wildlife in rural, urban, coastal and marine areas; promoting access, recreation and public well-being and contributing to the way natural resources are managed so that they can be enjoyed now and in the future.
This is an excellent opportunity to use your combined technical background, applied work experience in standing freshwaters to contribute to the Natural England-wide delivery strategy and evidence base, SSSI/SAC condition guidance, and the England Biodiversity Strategy.
You will be responsible for managing small projects and research activities (and their budgets), supporting internal information, ideas and experience exchange communities and networks, and giving advice as our expert on standing water and wetlands environments.
