Our client is an experienced international consultancy that works across a broad range of waste management areas and contaminated land. A vacancy has recently arisen for a waste professional to join the team based in Chesterfield. You will be required to provide GI, site design and CQA supervision for the development of landfill cells, surface water management systems and capping elements across the UK, principally in northern England. You will be a professionally experienced waste engineer capable of working with limited supervision in the landfill field. You will have direct contact with clients and will be capable of independent decision-making against a predetermined matrix. Educated to first degree level in civil engineering or earth-sciences, you will be working towards chartered status. In addition, you will have professional experience in geology/engineering geology/geotechnics, and some experience in landfill design and construction supervision.
