Washington State Program Manager

The Program Manager works closely with the (WA) State Director and other key staff to deliver and build support for TPL services and projects across priority landscapes. The position leads community outreach, planning and conservation vision service delivery in Washington and selectively in the division. The position also assists the (WA) State Director and other staff to track local and statewide policy efforts and activities pertinent to TPL's work.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS 

•  Develop project proposals and budgets, lead community outreach, manage consultants, and prepare final reports and publications
• Assist State Director in tracking local and statewide policy efforts and activities in priority landscapes; attend events, conferences, meetings as necessary
• Assist State Director and other TPL staff to build constituencies for TPL work; help to maintain, develop, and cultivate relationships with public agencies, nonprofit partners, and funders, with particular emphasis in priority landscapes.
• Work with State Director, National GIS, and TPL staff to scope and deliver conservation vision (CV) services in priority landscapes

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist in preparation of programmatic portion of grant proposals and reports
• Communicate programmatic activities to TPL staff and external audiences as necessary 
• Prepare reports and coordinate publications, working closely with marketing
• Oversee consultants, interns, and other staff as necessary
• Acts as a liaison for National GIS, helping to coordinate and facilitate their work in Washington and in the division as appropriate.
