JOB TITLE: Intern LOCATION: Malaysia (Kuala Lumpur) Duration: 1-2 months SALARY: Unpaid
The WWF Tigers Alive Initiative (TAI) is a Global Initiative of the World Wide Fund for Nature that works on tiger conservation issues across the wild tigers range. Global Initiatives focus on large-scale conservation issues that are of the highest priority and utilize joint cooperation and network-wide actions to accelerate conservation efforts. The TAI was established in 2009 and is based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, hosted by WWF Malaysia.
What are we looking for? We are looking for a beginner or intermediate animator who is looking to further their personal skills and portfolio to work on a series of animated clips (about 10 in total) to be used in the training of wildlife rangers. These videos will form a series that address the many aspects of protection work WWF works with rangers on so they are best enabled to protect tigers and other wildlife from poachers. Applicants should be well versed with the necessary animation software and techniques to complete the task requested. They should be able to work with team members to develop a concept and bring it to life in a timely manner, able to accept critical feedback and make modifications accordingly.
