Volunteer with Parrots

This project is looking for volunteers with a passion for parrots for early morning food preparation and feeding, and to help out with other duties such as enrichment, gardening, monitoring newly released birds, cleaning, etc. Veterinary students are most welcome, especially those seeking to increase their knowledge of avian care and medicine.

The bird sanctuary is surrounded by nature and there are many free-time activities in the surrounding area including endless stretches of unspoiled beaches, wildlife parks, the world's highest bungee jump, hang gliding, parachuting and zip lining, etc. 

There is no cost to participate but volunteers need to cover their own living expenses. There is an excellent backpackers nearby where volunteers receive transport to and from the sanctuary.
