Volunteer Research Assistant (Good Charities Guide)

Duration: Preferably 3-6 month placement, on a part- or full-time basis, although other options considered 

The National Anti-Vivisection Society, the world’s oldest organisation campaigning against animal experiments, is seeking a VolunteerResearchAssistant to assist with compilation of our Good Charities Guide, a helpful guide for the public illustrating which charities fund animal research.

Duties include sending out questionnaires for charities to complete, chasing responses by telephone and collating the information on spreadsheets.

Applicants should have:

• Excellent English and communication skills – written and oral
• Good organisation and time-management skills.
• Have a confident, polite telephone manner
• Knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite of programs, especially Excel and Word; good internet skills.
• Self motivated, with commitment to the aims and objectives of the NAVS.
• Vegetarian preferred.
