Description

Are you looking for an experience of a lifetime working with primates in Africa? We are looking for an experienced primate specialist for our Zambia Primate Project - a Born Free Foundation funded project that rescues injured, orphaned and illegally held captive yellow baboons and vervet monkeys in Zambia and, following an intensive period of rehabilitation, releases them back to the wild. We require a primate keeper to work with our rescued primates during their rehabilitation phase at a wildlife sanctuary in Zambia, integrating them into cohesive troops ready for release and carrying out predator avoidance training and all pre-release preparations. Basic accommodation and a food allowance will be provided, along with a local stipend. The volunteer will need to fund their own travel. For further information contact Dr Cheryl Mvula on cdmvula@aol.com
