The Synthesis Process of the WWW 2009 will be a process with Lead Rapporteurs (LR) together with Junior Rapporteurs (JR) that follow identified themes during the week in order to capture, summarize and analyse the discussion in relation to the overall aim of the week.
It is vital to note that this is an important and time consuming assignment. The rapporteurs will be given Terms of Reference, with a number of questions and issues to keep in mind as they follow workshops, seminars and side events in their respective and related areas. The aim is for the rapporteur teams to present their findings and reflections at the Closing Plenary Session on Friday 22 August. You must be a Master Student, PhD Student, or Young Professional working for an organisation and interested in academic and analytical work. Your application must include a CV and a personal letter, which should include a motivation statement on why you would be a strong candidate and state what areas you are especially interested in (Water Supply, Financing, Private Sector/Business, Urbanization, Agriculture, Specific Geographic Region, Sanitation, Climate adaptation, Ecosystems and Biodiversity, Water Resources Management, Transboundary Waters) If interested, please send your application and CV to: |
