Volunteer at Chimpanzee Rescue Centre

This project seeks volunteers for 6-month stays to assist with day-to-day operations of the rescue centre. Tasks include working with staff (who speak French), helping with chimpanzee feeding, cage cleaning and care, buying food and supplies in town, maintaining camp facilities and equipment, painting, and assisting with other manual tasks. Volunteers pitch in wherever needed most. Volunteering at the rescue centre offers a unique opportunity to get to know some of the most amazing animals in the world.

Free accommodation and vegetarian meals are provided while at the rescue centre. There is a one-time applicant processing fee if you are accepted as a volunteer.
