One year appointment which may be extended or made permanent. Average of 12 hours a week, rostered to include 4 hours a day on Saturday and Sunday£4943 and benefits.You’ll ensure car parking charges are applied at Salcey Forest Car Park and carry out basic maintenance work, including picking up litter. You must have basic maintenance skills and enjoy working as part of a team. You must be self-motivated, able to work with the minimum of supervision on your own or as part of a team. Ideally you will have good local knowledge of the woods. The remoteness of the site,means the ability to drive would be useful. However, the Forestry Commission will consider any proposals put forward by disabled applicants, whose disability prevents them from driving, that would allow them to do the job by another means. Benefits include a Civil Service Pension or stakeholder pension scheme, 25 days annual leave pro rata and flexible working options.
