My client is a well known Chinese manufacturer or PV cells and modules with a recognised brand identity in the global market. They already have established offices in Asia, Europe and America and in line with the success that they have had and aggressive growth plans, they are looking for a Vice President of Sales that can take charge and develop the European market.

 

Position Overview:

My client is looking for an successful individual with a proven background in Sales in the PV industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, leading and managing all aspects of training a team and develop market strategies to increase brand awareness. You will have a strong knowledge or PV cells and/or modules and will have had prior experience in managing a strong team.

 

Responsibilities:

  • ·         Define sales and marketing strategies according to the European climate and market
  • ·         Liaise with the technical department so as to be able to provide the best quality of advice and support to customers
  • ·         Develop a greater brand awareness
  • ·         Liaise frequently with Head Office in China
  • ·         Interviewing, hiring, training, motivation of team
  • ·         Budget control
  • ·         Draft and execute strategy for Europe with the aim of reaching and exceeding sales targets
  • ·         Source new clients to generate new streams of revenue

 

Education:

  • ·         Must be educated to a minimum of BSc level in business, Sales and Marketing or related field of study

 

Core Requirements:

  • ·         Must have 5-7years experience in field sales within the solar industry
  • ·         Must have strong negotiation skills
  • ·         Proven ability to lead a team successfully
  • ·         Be able to develop rapports and build relationships as you will be acting as a brand ambassador
  • ·         Will be a target driven individual
  • ·         Must be innovative and a problem-solver

General Requirements

  • ·         Strong communication skills
  • ·         Must be articulate with an out going and approachable personality
  • ·         Must be fluent in English, further language skills are desirable
  • ·         Must be willing to travel frequently
