We're looking for a talented Communications Officer to join our busy UK Team. Supporting and reporting to the UK Communications Manager, the Communications Officer has the challenging and exciting role of growing our UK media presence, engaging with high-level stakeholders and spearheading our social media outreach. Using your creativity, writing skills and social media experience, you will be a first point of contact for journalists and the public, promoting the MSC's mission and delivering the UK Communications strategy. Skills RequiredThe ideal candidate will have strong writing skills and experience in a similar role, either in-house or in an agency. You will be used to working with journalists and have demonstrable experience of using social media in a Communications or Public Relations capacity. Experience of writing, proof-reading and editing press releases, features, blogs and news for different audiences would be an advantage, as would membership of the CIPR.
