ERM seeks a Senior Program Manager to play a key role in building our U.S. climate change business who will act as member of a global core team with diversified roles, including sector (e.g., Oil and Gas) and service line responsibilities. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in business development and have the ability to bring $10M of business to the ERM portfolio within three years of employment.  

Responsibilities will include:

  • Building a broadly skilled, well-rounded team of climate change practitioners able to inspire both clients and partners. 
  • Recruiting, coaching, and developing climate change professionals to support growth of practice and quality of delivery.
  • Contributing to building a practice that delivers business benefits for clients, including business case, energy efficiency, process engineering, adaptation, offset purchase, change management, and verification – the broader aspects of responding to climate change.
  • Designing climate change programs that lead to multi-year client relationships.
  • Leading sales and marketing activity both directly and in conjunction with key account managers and sector leads.
  • Working with Knowledge Manager to capture and share case studies, credentials, and marketing materials. Actively look for opportunities to “methodise” delivery techniques and staff internationally.
  • Supporting or leading international pursuits as appropriate.  

Requirements:
  • 10 plus yrs of experience with climate change, as well as business development, project management, and team leadership.
  • Established relationships with regulatory authorities and large-scale, private sector industrial companies.
