Information: GIROAZ (www.giroaz.com) is a research
group constituted by researchers from the Foundations
of Economic Analysis I Department and the Institute
of Public Economics at the University of the Basque
Country (UPV/EHU) (http://www.ehu.es/p200-

Two postdoctoral positions are offered. The positions
are for one year of full-time employment, with a
monthly salary paid. The positions are intensive in
research. Candidates for the positions can apply to
work on any of the following priority research lines:
economics of climate change, economic growth and
environmental quality, international environmental
agreements, real options in resource economics and
economics of fisheries. Applications should include a
brief research plan outlining the intended work at
GIROAZ.
Candidates should have a Ph.D. in economics or in
energy engineering/ mathematics/ physics if it is
coupled with experience in applied research on
environmental and natural resource economics.
The postdoctoral research positions will begin in the
Fall of 2011. The gross salary is about 33.000 €.
