Trustee Vacancy - Swarm Dynamics

Voluntary - Preferably Brighton / Sussex based

Do you have a knack for conjuring up a strategic vision, influencing and negotiating, and experience with fundraising and managing risk? 

Are you determined to help change the conversation around the climate emergency and passionate or interested about the power of arts and culture as part of this? 

Swarm Dynamics is looking for a new Trustee to join the small governance team of this new charity formed in January 2019. Swarm Dynamics works with UK artists, higher education providers and international organisations involved with the global climate movement. The charity works to embed creative practitioners with systems change experts to develop emerging artists and create unique art projects inspiring positive, sustainable futures. 

After a successful first year of activity the Board of Trustees and the Charity Director are currently looking for a new Trustee to join the charity from January 2020 at an exciting time to shape, sustain and grow the organisation. 

Swarm Dynamics are looking for a Trustee with experience of fundraising and working in the third sector, and preferably with knowledge and skills of the arts and culture landscape in the UK and beyond. 

As part of the Board of Trustees you will join a small dedicated team with the opportunity to apply your unique skills and experience while learning from others. You will provide strategic input to growing the charity, note this role does not require a large time commitment.
