We are looking for a talented, enthusiastic and motivated individual to lead our Tree Service Team. The role comes with plenty of variety and is a great opportunity to gain a wide range of experience and job satisfaction whilst managing a team of Professional Arboriculturists.

The Tree Service is responsible for the management of approximately 80,000 urban trees across the Borough and a further 500 hectares of woodland.  We provide professional and technical advice to both internal and external customers, such as the Council’s Development Control Team and work in collaboration with many partners to improve the protection, management and promotion of trees in Rotherham.

As Tree Service Manager you will need to have excellent tree knowledge, communication skills, a flexible approach to managing your own workload as well as the workload of your team; you will be able to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders as well as the wider Green Spaces Team.

We are looking for a manger who can prioritise and delegate, who has strong ‘people skills’ and empathy with resident’s concerns, as well as being a champion for Rotherham’s trees.

If you are enthusiastic and have the necessary skills, knowledge, and experience to join our team we would like to hear from you.
