ECODIT is seeking the services of a training specialist to support the training functions of the Public Action for Water, Energy and Environment project (PAP). PAP is a 5 year USAID project that supports and provides grants to the non-governmental and private sector agencies in Jordan to deliver specialized activities to a variety of target audiences.
PAP and its partners have to train a variety of audiences in subjects with which they may be relatively unfamiliar. In addition PAP staff directly train third parties in social marketing methodologies, the preferred method for creating behavior change and affecting social norms around environmental issues. Because of the extensive training required across a range of disciplines, PAP would like to establish a training protocol independent of the subject, that would be shared with partners, and create a cadre of skilled trainers who understand the core competencies and best practices in delivering training. Using existing PAP activities as a basis for the training, the expert trainer will enhance and improve PAP and partner ability to deliver knowledge content.
