The World Land Trust website is one of the main ways the organisation communicates with its supporters, corporate sponsors and individual donors. The Trainee Web Development Officer will be responsible for developing the front end elements of the Drupal CMS ensuring that the WLT continues to deliver a vibrant, coherent and consistent web message to current and potential new supporters. The candidate will need to have good knowledge of web development and a desire to learn. The candidate must be excited by new technologies and aware of future trends to ensure that the Trust can continue to develop a website that fulfils the requirements of the Trust as well as the end user experience. They will be given the opportunity to grow within the role and develop their skills of HTML and CSS along with their knowledge of the content management system Drupal. We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed person who can not only use their skills to develop a website, but also wants to use their knowledge to help WLT carry out its globally important conservation work.
