Trainee Technician - London

We currently have a vacancy for a Trainee Technician based in our London office.

This role would suit an individual who is looking to begin their career in the Engineering industry with a focus on design. Peter Brett Associates LLP will support the successful individual with appropriate training which will enable them to develop to EngTech status or a fully Chartered Engineer.

The successful candidate will provide basic technical and administrational support to team members on all projects within their department and possibly other areas within the office. 

Key Responsibilities include:

• Develop technical skills in transport planning and engineering
• Undertake appropriate training and apply knowledge learnt
• Provide support to team members where required including preparing reports, drawings and graphics with supervision
• Undertake visits to project sites, assisting in surveys or carrying out monitoring and record data where collected.

The Candidate:
PBA is looking to recruit a proactive, enthusiastic Trainee Technician.  The ideal candidates must be/ have:

• Educated to A level or equivalent with good GSCE’s in 
  English and Maths
• Able to demonstrate good engineering and/ or graphic 
  design skills
• IT literate with experience of using AutoCad, Core or Photoshop
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• A positive and enthusiastic team player.
