The successful applicant must be prepared to undertake a seven months intensive training course at the Society’s office in Sussex, and elsewhere. Accommodation whilst training will be provided by the Society. The course will comprise a range of legislative, technical and practical training, and will be assessed by written and practical examinations throughout. Successful candidates will be required to pass all examinations to qualify as an Inspector. In exceptional circumstances a single exam re-sit may be permitted, but this is at the Society’s discretion. A failure to successfully meet the assessment standards will result in termination of employment.
