The Rainforest Alliance is an international nonprofit organization that works to conserve biodiversity and ensure sustainable livelihoods by transforming land-use practices, business practices and consumer behavior.
The Coordinator will support the Claims, Traceability & Trademarks (CTT) Unit in all Chain of Custody related information processing and reporting globally. S/he will be responsible for supporting the receiving, processing and finalization of all Chain of Custody Risk Applications (CRA) as well as support the creation of CTT reports for Chain of Custody (CoC) audits.
Responsibilities:
Receive all CRA applications;
Review and log all information on the CRA application into the internal database;
Communicate back to applicants the status of their CRA application;
Monitor users for their status (making sure that once in Marketplace they apply for a CRA and have a CoC Audit (when applicable) as indicated in the CoC Policy;
Issue endorsements when applicable and monitor the validity of endorsements;
Monitor the status of users when they need a Chain of Custody audit and the validity of their certificate (when awarded);
Provide CTT reports for Chain of Custody audits when requested by accredited Certification Bodies;
Provide outstanding customer service to all companies worldwide;
Support the Traceability Unit with logistics and other general administrative matters, and;
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in information technology or similar required;
Experience with monitoring processes, or equivalent;
Minimum of 2 years of experience in administrative assistance;
Proven ability to work with application processing and information management;
Fluency in written and verbal English language required;
Proven outstanding customer service and communication skills;;
High level of abilities to set targets and met goals for repetitive tasks;
Must be able to work independently, multi-task and work with a group; and
Understanding of and a commitment to the Rainforest Alliance mission with international conservation experience a plus.
